Welcome!

My name is My McCauley and I'm a surface designer and illustrator. I grew up roaming the great Swedish outdoors in the southern parts of Stockholm. Since then, I’ve moved across the world, living in the UK, Mexico and most recently in Sydney.  I was born with a creative soul and brought up to be kind to the world, its people and to spread as much joy as possible.

My work is fuelled by a deep affinity for patterns, vintage botanical illustrations, historical wallpapers and textiles, wildlife, and the living world around us. I draw inspiration from small and little things in my everyday life but nature is what always makes me want to grab my pens and brushes. Although a lover of all things handmade, employing technology feels like a natural part of my design process. 

I’m currently freelancing and open for work! Yay!
